The River City Rascals will be hosting their first bobble head giveaway of the season on Friday, June 20th at 7:05 PM. The first bobble head giveaway, presented by One Source Realtors, will feature legendary sportscaster Bob Costas.  On Saturday, July 12that 7:05 PM they’ll offer the second bobble head giveaway of the season presented by Mercy, featuring former Cardinal and current 101.1 ESPN radio host Chris Duncan. Only the first 500 fans in the gate will receive the bobble heads, and fans hoping to attain one should expect to show up early.
Bob Costas is a native of St. Louis and an American sportscaster on the air for NBC Sports television since the early 1980s. He has been prime-time host of nine Olympic Games. He currently does play-by-play for MLB Network and hosts an interview show called Studio 42 with Bob Costas.
Chris Duncan is the youngest son of Dave Duncan, a former catcher and retired pitching coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. Chris Duncan also played for the St. Louis Cardinals from the 2005 through the 2009 seasons. Duncan contributed to the 2006 World Series Championship. Following the 2006 season, Duncan was named the team’s Rookie of the Year. He is currently a co-host with Anthony Stalter on a mid-day radio program on the St. Louis ESPN Radio Affiliate WXOS called The Turn.
The gates will open at 6:05 PM for both games, so be here well in advance to be one of the first 500 to receive these bobble heads. Tickets for these games will go on sale Tuesday, April 1
